Ontario Bar Association (OBA) The
Ontario Bar Association is a branch of the Canadian Bar Association, an
organization of lawyers formed to provide support by the profession to
the profession so that it may render better service to its members and
the public. This is accomplished by both education and representation
to government on topics of current concern.
ABI World The
American Bankruptcy Institute ("ABI") is the United States' largest
multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and
education on matters related to insolvency. "ABI World" offers daily
bankruptcy news and information and a gateway to ABI On-Line, a private
bankruptcy research library.
Commercial Law League of America (CCLA) The
CLLA is North America 's oldest creditors' rights organization. Founded
in 1895, the CLLA has 5,000 members in the United States as well as in
dozens of countries abroad. CLLA membership consists of attorneys who
concentrate their practice in commercial law, collections, the UCC and
bankruptcy and reorganizations.
The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) The
TMA is a North America Wide Association of Turnaround Management
Professionals, including lawyers, accountants, turaround consultants,
venture capitalists and lenders. The Site contains extracts from the
periodical "Journal of Corporate Renewal" as well as information on the
organization's membership, committee structure, and upcoming events.
